• What are Sunday morning services like?

Our Sunday Morning service is 75 minutes long or less. Our service is encouraging, gospel-centered and casual. If you arrive a little early, you’ll have time to grab some free coffee, check kids in, and find a seat. Services begin with live music from our worship team. Lyrics are on screen for reading or singing along. After worship, the emcee team will make announcements and we’ll take an offering. Then, one of our preaching team members will come and share a biblically sound message that will be applicable to your life. There will then be a time to respond to the message (with worship, private prayer, communion, or prayer with leaders). Check out the worship songs we will be playing ahead of time.

  • What should I wear?

Jeans, t shirts, button up shirts, hoodies, honestly, we’re pretty relaxed.

  • What about my kids?

We believe church should be fun no matter what age you are, and at The Ville Kids, we make this a priority. Children are welcome to sit in on the adult service with you but we recommend the fun experiences designed just for them. We have 3 childcare rooms available for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. We also have a full kids church service for elementary-aged children. All of our kids' environments are staffed with background-checked team members. We have a kids check-in/out process in our kids wing up a couple steps and to the right once you enter the main entrance. You or your kiddo can't do steps? No worries! We have a ramp into the kids wing inside of the lobby to the right! If it’s your first Sunday, you should give yourself a few extra minutes to get them registered and checked in, BUT even if you’re running late, no worries! You can also speed it up by pre-registering your family.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Bible

The complete verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of Scriptures originally given. They are infallible and uniquely authoritative and free from error of any sort in all matters, including scientific and historical, as well as moral and theological.

    2 Tim 3:16; 1 Cor 2:13

  • One God

Who exists in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible.

    Matt 28:19; 2 Cor 13:14

  • Creation

Test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis, his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine goodness.

    Rom 3:10-18; Gen 1:26-28

  • The Lord Jesus Christ

He is the Savior of all people, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Virgin Mary, very God and very man.

    Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isa 7:14; 9:16

  • Christ’s Death, Resurrection, and Ascension

He died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day, and appeared to His disciples. We believe in His bodily ascension to heaven and His bodily coming again for the Church.

    1 Cor 15:14; Romans 4:25; John 14:2-3; 1 Thess 4:13-18

  • Salvation

A gift from God for all people of every race, age and background, received through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross, by which we obtain forgiveness of sins.

    Eph 2:8-9; Heb 9:12,22; Rom 5:11

  • Eternal Life

For all who believe in the way of salvation God made for us through Christ; and eternal consequences of separation from God for those who reject Christ.

    John 3:16

  • The Gifts of The Spirit

The operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in I Cor 12-14 and demonstrated in the Early Church.

    1 Cor 12-14

  • Marriage

We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by and publicly entered into before God.

    Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 18:22

  • Water Baptism

By immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    Matt 28:19; Acts 2:37-39, 19:1-6

  • Communion

A symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for all people.

    1 Cor 11:28-32

Get to know us

Vision for the Church

We want to see anyone access freedom through Jesus by helping them Know God, Grow Together and Live Generously.

  • Know God

We were created to be known by God, but also to Know God himself!

    John 17:3

And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

  • Grow Together

We want to grow together in Jesus to better each other and our community! The primary way we believe this happens is through small groups. Small groups give us an opportunity to get to know each other in a smaller setting. We believe that life change happens through growing together in community.

    Ephesians 4:15-16

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

  • Live Generously

We want to add value to those around us. One way this happens is when we are generous with what God gives us! Ways we can sow generously are through giving of our time, our talents and our treasures.

    2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
